NextGEN Gallery Plugin
1. Login to your blog admin page, example :http://adityo.blog.binusian.org/wp-admin do not forget to enter your password
2. Click Plugins tab -> scroll down checked the NextGEN Gallery -> Activate. You should have the plugin activated now.
3.How to create gallery / upload the picture ?
a. Go to Gallery Menu -> Add Gallery -> add your your new gallery a name -> clicked add gallery button
b. Now you need to upload images to the gallery that you have created, clicked the upload images button
Now we should have a photo gallery ( in example named test1 )
4. How to add the gallery / photo to our posting or pages ? there is 2 way , the first one by clicking the image gallery button on the tiny MCE editor or by tping the nggallery code on your post or page:
a.Just click the nggalerry button on your editor to add the picture gallery, select the gallery and show as option then don’t forget to clicked the insert button
b. As you can see on step 3 b picture, there gallery named test1 can be added to our post or pages by adding ” [ n g g a l l e r y id=X] or ” [s l i d e s h o w id=X] ” in this example my gallery id was 4 so i add [ n g g a l l e ry id=4] for gallery and [slideshow id=4] for slideshow to your post or page, go to write option -> click post or pages and add the tag -> click publish
b. You should see the gallery on your post /pages now
5. How to add the gallery or images widget to our sidebar ?
a. Go to admin -> pick the design option -> widget -> add NextGEN Slideshow ( to show slideshow on our sidebar ) and NextGEN Widget ( to show album gallery on our sidebar) , we can also add the amount of the widget by scrooling down – > NextGEN Gallery Widgets -> pick the widget amount-> save
b. It should show on our sidebar ( left or right , 1 0r 2 it depend on your themes )
